Alison E. Reed, LPC

You are not "crazy" because you are feeling disconnected from your spouse or partner, or because you keep finding yourself in dating relationships or friendships that are more frustrating than fulfilling.  You are not "crazy" because you have difficulty making decisions due to worry about what other people will think.  You are not "crazy" because you are beginning to question what you thought you would never question.  You are human - and we all have times in our lives when we need help.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my aim is to establish a therapeutic relationship with you which provides a supportive yet challenging, sometimes humorous, accepting and affirming space for exploring, healing, and growth.  Areas of specialization include: marital and couples therapy utilizing Imago Relationship Therapy, relationship with self and others, life changes/transitions, adult child to parent conflict, spiritual and/or religious concerns, and personal growth.

"There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself.  It is the only true guide you will ever have.  And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls." - Howard Thurman.

Let's find the genuine and cut those strings!  I'd be honored to help you improve the way you experience, trust, and care for yourself and to help you more effectively manage challenges that will come - allowing you to live more fully in relationship with yourself and others.
